Vacation in Sabah wouldn't be complete if you haven't visit Kota Kinabalu. Kota Kinabalu, capital city of Sabah has gained much attention over the years since being declared "City" in 2000. Kota Kinabalu is also the gateway to other major towns and districts and has a population of around 300,000. Hamin Lodge will bring you to many wonderful places in Kota Kinabalu such as the "Rasa Ria Orang Utan Sanctuary", "Menara Tun Mustapha", "State Mosque" and the "Filipino Market".

Tour Schedule

0830/1230 hrs

Depart from Hamin Lodge to Rasa Ria Orang Utan Sanctuary located in Tuaran. You will have the chance of forest trekking through the secondary forest for about 1 hour.

1000/1400  hrs

Witness the Orang Utan feeding from the viewing platform. After the tour at the Orang Utan Sanctuary, we will proceed to Mengkabong Water Village, where houses build on stilt and home of the "Bajaus" Tribe. From there, we will countinue to Likas where we'll visit the Sabah Tun Mustapha Tower (State Foundation Sabah).

2100 hrs/1730 hrs

After the visit at Sabah Tun Mustapha Tower, we will proceed to visit the State Mosque. Get a magnificent view of its 13 golden plated domes which represent the numbers of state in Malaysia. Then, we'll head back to Kota Kinabalu Town where we'll stop by the Filipino Market. Take this opportunity to buy local handicrafts and souvenirs.
